PRIVATE REFORMER | BROOKVALE

Reformer Pilates, one-on-one, built around you

No big classes. No keeping up with the room. Just Stephanie, the reformer, and a session designed for your body and your goals.

Stephanie coaching a reformer Pilates session at The Health Studio Brookvale

What private reformer Pilates is

Reformer Pilates uses a sliding carriage and adjustable springs to guide your movement, support your weight, and make precise muscle work possible. Done well, it builds deep core strength, mobility, and balance without pounding your joints.

At The Health Studio, every reformer session is private. One reformer, one client, one instructor. Stephanie spends the hour on you, not on managing six people at once.

That makes the reformer suitable for first-timers, for people coming back from injury, for runners and surfers building functional strength, and for pregnant and postnatal mums working on the basics with confidence.

Common questions

Do I need experience?
No. Most first-time clients have never been on a reformer. Stephanie walks you through every move.
Is it safe if I have a sore back or knee?
Often yes. We dial pressure and range of motion to your tolerance. Tell us at booking.
How is this different from a group class?
You are the only client. The session is built around you.
How often should I come?
Most clients come in weekly. Twice a week if you are rebuilding after injury.
Can I claim on my health fund?
Reformer Pilates is not typically claimable as remedial massage. Some funds rebate exercise physiology. Check with your fund.
